What would it be like to listen to what your body is asking for right now?
Including the body within the psychotherapy process is a necessity because your body carries the memories of your personal life experiences. This somatic approach allows for a more holistic and integrated healing process, as it addresses the physical aspects of your mental and emotional struggles. By paying attention to bodily sensations, movements, and reactions during therapy, together we can gain a better understanding of your internal state.
By learning to listen to and trust the wisdom of your body, you receive valuable insights into your inner world and guidance towards greater self-discovery and healing. Embodiment practices, such as mindfulness, parts work, and yogāsana, can help you develop a connection with your body and access your internal wisdom.
When you listen to your body, you can better recognize when something feels off or when a situation is not serving you. By honoring the wisdom of your body, you strengthen the connection with yourself and live in greater alignment with your true self. Listening to your body may not come easy, yet your body is always speaking to you. Do you hear it?
