

Bringing a Trauma-Informed Approach to Yoga
This half-day live, virtual workshop is open to yoga teachers, yoga studio owners, yoga practitioners, and those curious about what being "trauma-informed" means in a yoga setting. Minimum of three (3) participants required for this workshop to run, with no maximum capacity. Three (3) continuing education hours with Yoga Alliance are included for Registered Yoga Teachers (RYTs).

1:00 - 1:15PM - Welcome Circle
Share virtual space with others as we shift into a state of learning and experience.
1:15 - 1:30PM - Embodied Practice
Option to participate in a trauma-informed yoga practice.
1:30 - 1:45PM - Mini Sharing Circle
Option to share self-discoveries from the trauma-informed yoga practice and any insights of this approach.
1:45 - 2:45PM - Trauma Defined
Take a journey through the evolution of "trauma" and learn about its effects.
2:45 - 3:45PM - Being Trauma-Informed
Learn what it means to be "trauma-informed" and how to apply this approach in a yoga setting.
3:45 - 4:00PM Closing Circle
Explore resources to continue your ongoing journey of being trauma-informed in a yoga setting.
